"College is only 4 years, but Sisterhood is forever." |
"DPhiL empowers me to be a leader in my community and to advocate for the betterment of Asian-Americans. The unconditional love and support that I've received from my sisters inspires me to proudly represent my cultural heritage and to become my best self. The culturally-based Greek connections I've made from our home chapter to across the nation are immeasurably valuable, and I'm honored to be part of the beautiful, long-standing tradition that is multicultural Greek life. I know that I've truly found an Everlasting Sisterhood in Delta Phi Lambda." - Kaitlyn Banh, Sister Aelya FA '21 |
"Since joining DPhiL, I have found a group of people who I can always go to. When coming to the U.S., it was hard finding others that were also Asian since I was in a non-diverse area. As such, I love being in an organization with others that share similar values and experiences with me. For me, DPhiL is a safe space to appreciate my Asian heritage. The Sisterhood has allowed me to learn, grow, and just be who I am. Lastly, I am extremely appreciative of my Line Sisters, who have seen me through my highs and lows." - Jinxia Loo, Sister dEvaana SPR '22 |
"DPhiL has given me the unique chance to meet people and grow out of my comfort zone. From Big/Little relationships to planning recruitment, I have grown immensely in my leadership, communication skills, and planning. The Asian-interest Greek community is so vast across the Southeastern region, and through reveal shows and socials, I've made so many friends with chapters from other schools. Since DPhiL chapters are smaller, it differs from other Greek life in its ability to harbor more intimate relationships and closer bonding." - Rebecca Wang, Sister Eirenah FA '22 |
