Dear Potential New Members,
We are the recruitment committee for the Zeta Chapter of Delta Phi Lambda Sorority® at Georgia Tech. We are very excited to kick off the semester with our Spring 2022 Omega Class Recruitment, Fly Into Sisterhood. My name is Michelle and I am one of the members of our recruitment committee. I first came into Georgia Tech thinking I would never join a sorority because it wasn’t something I was ever interested in. However, by my sophomore year, I became intrigued by Delta Phi Lambda®. I was still unsure if it was something I wanted to commit to, but once I went to my first recruitment event, I knew that this was going to be my new home. It was hard for me to adjust to Georgia Tech and I always felt like something was missing, but I didn’t know what it was. Now I can confidently say that Delta Phi Lambda® has filled that void for me and I have finally found where I was meant to be. I have met my closests friend along with many other amazing women who share the same passion and values as I do. What comforts me the most is that I know I will have these relationships forever, even after college. It is never too late to find that missing piece you’re feeling. Delta Phi Lambda® can be your home away from home, everlasting support, and where your closest and strongest bonds form. My name is Xufei, and I am the second member of our recruitment committee. Before joining Delta Phi Lambda®, virtual education and schooling were not going well for my social well-being. However, through the sorority, I was able to forge everlasting bonds with my new sisters, and together we stayed connected through countless events and activities. From my first recruitment event, I knew that I wanted to connect deeper with several sisters of this organization, and with time, our bonds have only strengthened. I’ve found support to keep me going through my highs and lows, and I’ve gained many new friendships along the way. These bonds will last beyond my college experience, and I take pride in the relationships that I’ve fostered during my time at Georgia Tech, and it is my hope that you will all form the same strong bonds within the sorority. My name is Trang, and I am the third member of our recruitment committee of the Zeta Chapter of Delta Phi Lambda® at Georgia Tech. I was just in your shoes last semester when I first joined Delta Phi Lambda® and with every day, I know it was the best decision I have made since coming to college. I had always wanted to find a close, tight-knit community and this sorority has been that and more! As a freshman going into a new chapter of my life, I knew that I wanted to be among ambitious, kind women throughout my journey in college and it is incredibly important for me to engage myself with the fabric of Georgia Tech. Through Delta Phi Lambda®, I was able to learn meaningful skills, nurture deep bonds with sisters, and develop close ties with the many other organizations that make up our great collegiate community. The sorority has given me endless support during my first semester of college and without a doubt, the sisterhood I have found is a home away from home. With that, we hope you enjoy the many recruitment events we’ve planned and find the kind of sisterhood that will last you a lifetime!
